Now a lot of people read all sorts of news regarding Iraq. In the eyes of many in the outside world, Iraq is the last place people would want to move to. But believe it or not, a lot of people who originally came from Iraq are coming back.
Given the change in government as well as the new political stability, despite the news headlines, more and more people are seeing opportunities.
Believe it or not, a lot of people from all over the world, places like Australia, Canada, North America and Western Europe, are coming back to set up businesses and offer services.
There’s a lot of money to be made in Iraq. There’s also an amazing life to be had if you know where to go and you know where to look.
This advice pretty much applies across the board. You really can’t just go by the news that you get from mainstream media.
I’m not saying that it’s fake, I’m not saying it’s distorted, I’m not saying that it’s biased, but you need to scratch beneath the surface. You need to ask the right people. In other words, you need to get some face time with people on the ground who really know what’s happening.
And unfortunately, when it comes to the mainstream global media, it only takes one piece of bad news to give all of Iraq a bad reputation.
Make no mistake about it, Iraq is just like any other place in the world. If you have traveled extensively or if you do a lot of direct observation in the town or city you live in the United States, you know exactly what I’m talking about.
There are good places, there are bad places, and there are also places in between. Again, this applies across the board.
This is why a lot of people are moving back to their provincial home in Iraq to offer goods and services. They’re also taking full advantage of the booming economy on the local level.
Now, with that said, this move also has its own set of challenges. One of these challenges, of course, is power.
Due to the war, not all parts of Iraq gets power on a 24/7 basis. Believe it or not, this problem is also an opportunity.
If you were to build your own portable solar generator, not only would you get the electricity you need for your particular requirements, but you can also sell your excess. This is precisely what’s going on in certain provinces in Iraq.
As you probably already know, Iraq is very rich in oil. But due to refinery issues and other distribution problems, there is an energy crisis.
Now, this crisis may be a huge problem, bordering on catastrophe in the eyes of the world, but this can be also be viewed from the other side. Now, people looking at it from the other side see it for what it is: a tremendous opportunity.
Make no mistake about it, if you set up a portable solar generator array, you can get enough juice going so you can sell your excess. Talk about making the best out of what would otherwise be a rough situation.
That, in and of itself, speaks to the true state of the Iraqi spirit. It is an invincible spirit.
Remember, Iraq has always been around. It used to be called by its ancient name. What is its ancient name?
Well, if you are a Christian or are in any way, shape or form familiar with Christianity or Islam, you would know that the ancient name of this place that goes by the name of Iraq used to be Babylon. That’s how far back Iraqi culture goes.
So do not count the opportunities in the hinterlands out. Because if you are in any way, shape or form creative and resourceful, you can make quite a bit of money and you can be quite comfortable, regardless of what the mainstream media says.
